Privacy and Terms
Written in plain English, because most of our players are not lawyers. Neither are we.
Draft. The Meltpoint team still needs to review this page. It is not legal advice.
The short version
We run a public website and a private feedback form for playtesters. We collect as little as we can. We never ask for real names, email addresses or ages.
The public site
On meltpointstudios.com there are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no cookies set by us. We do not run analytics.
Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them when a page loads. Links to Roblox and Discord take you to their sites, which have their own rules.
The playtest feedback form
The form on testers.meltpointstudios.com collects only your answers:
- Which game and build you played
- What kind of device you played on, and roughly how long
- Your written answers and your 1 to 5 ratings
- Any bug notes, and a link to a screenshot or clip if you add one
- Your Roblox username, only if you choose to add it
- The invite code you used, so we know which testing round it belongs to
We do not ask for real names, email addresses, ages, or any other way to contact you. Please do not put them in your answers.
Like every website, ours sees basic technical data such as your IP address when you connect. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, uses it to block abuse. We do not save it in our database.
Why we collect it, and who sees it
We use feedback for one thing: making our games better. Only the Meltpoint team can read it. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else.
When you send feedback, a copy is also posted into a private channel on our Discord server that only the team can see. Discord stores that copy under its own privacy policy.
We may quote a comment in a devlog post, without any username.
We keep feedback while we are working on the game it is about.
Deleting your feedback
If you want a submission deleted, message the team on Discord. Tell us the game, roughly when you sent it, and the invite code you used if you still have it. We will delete it from our database and from the Discord channel.
Young players
Many Roblox players are young. That is why the form only asks about the game, and nothing about you. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before sending feedback.
Terms
- Our sites and games are provided as they are, while in development. Things will change and sometimes break.
- Invite codes are for the person we gave them to. One code, one submission. Please do not share or sell codes.
- Do not send anything illegal, hateful, or someone else's private information through the form.
- Feedback you send us may be used to improve our games. We cannot pay for it or credit everyone, but we do read all of it.
- Playing our games on Roblox is also covered by Roblox's own terms.
- Meltpoint Studios is an independent group and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.
- We may update this page. The date below tells you when it last changed.
